Here we are with a mouth watering recipe of the popular chocolate chip cookies. They are an all time favorites for the kids and no adults can refuse them either. Also, they freeze nicely, so you might not be tempted to eat the whole batch at once. They are a delicious serving, so u can just take them out of the freezer for the guests and have one exquisite baking dish all ready to be served with the rest of the food delights.
To begin with, there is some kitchen equipment that is necessary for any cooking or baking recipe you are starting with. Since most recipes follow the same units of measurements, it is recommended that your kitchen supplies have a set of measuring cups and measuring spoons. This is especially important for beginners, who need to have the right catering equipment to start their experience with. For home users, the supplies need not match the commercial catering equipment standard, any reasonable company would do. Another option is to get the equipment from a site such as BuyCatering.com . These sites have a whole list of equipment available at very reasonable rates.
All right then, what equipment do we need for our baking session today? You need a large square baking tray to start with. Non stick baking trays are always a good idea and if you do not have one, you do not need to run to the store to get one right away. Just line whatever tray you have with butter paper or parchment paper and it will do the job. In fact, lining the dish this way, instead of oiling it, makes the cleaning task easier to finish up. Next you need a beater to speed up the task for you, though hand beaters work well enough and give you a good exercise too. Then find a large ceramic, plastic or glass bowl that can hold all the ingredients and bear all the dough beating. Next make sure you have the measuring cups and the measuring spoons all clean and dried up. If you are a beginner at baking, make sure you plug your electric beater in the right voltage rating plug, so that you don’t have to stop before it even began!
So that makes it:
- A baking tray
- Good electric beater
- Measuring spoons
- Measuring cups.
- And two large bowls.
To start with the recipe,
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (or 165 degrees )
- Take
- All-purpose Flour 2 cups.
- Salt ½ tea spoon
- Baking soda ½ teaspoon
Sift all these ingredients together in a bowl and keep aside.
- In another bowl, put,
- molten unsalted butter ¾ cup
- brown sugar 1 cup
- fine white sugar ½ cup
beat at high speed until the mixture forms a light creamy texture.
- To the same bowl, add
- Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
- Egg 1
- Egg yolk 1
And mix until the ingredients are all finely mixed
- Fold in 2 cups of Semi sweet chocolate chip cookies.
- Take a tablespoon of mixture, and place on the baking tray. Repeat with the whole batter. Make sure you leave enough space between the cookies so that they can spread out well.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the edges are roasted or turn light brown/Golden.
- Let it cool for some time, then transfer to a cooling rack for proper cooling.
